Skill required to play a game isn't a factor that determines if a game is an e-sport or not. WoW isn't e-sport at least at it current state. Lack of tournaments (in comparison to LoL for example), allowing pve gear (you don't have pve kalashnikows in CS, do you?), lack of observer mode (just developed in LoL and it is also on AT, but not in retail version).
